Fort Carson conducting prescribed burn Tuesday

FORT CARSON, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Fort Carson Fire Department, the Southern Colorado Wildland Fire Team, and the Colorado Springs Fire Department will be conducting a prescribed burn on Fort Carson Tuesday.

The burn will be on a Fort Carson range and will begin at 10:30 a.m. Fort Carson said that based on the location of the burn, smoke will likely be visible along Highway 115. The operation is expected to be complete by 4 p.m.
