Sheriff’s Office: Teen who was allegedly kidnapped by non-custodial mother dropped off at police station

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing after allegedly being kidnapped by her mother has been dropped off at a police station in the Denver area.

Investigators say Megan Mulock, 15, was dropped off at a police station in Arvada Thursday morning and that she is safe.

Mulock’s mother, Elizabeth Murphy, remains wanted on two warrants. One for kidnapping and the other for violation of a custody order.

The sheriff’s office says Murphy is believed to be hiding at a safe house in the Denver area.
