Victim in Springs shooting identified, death ruled homicide
Colorado Springs Police have released new information about Friday’s deadly shooting near Garden of the Gods and Chesnut.
The shooting happened in the 4100 block of Edwinstowe Ave.
The victim has been identified as Ernesto Hernandez, 49. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Two women were taken to the hospital with what police are calling “unrelated injuries.” Police said their injuries are serious.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
