Alamosa Volunteer Search And Rescue responding to Blanca Peak/Ellingwood Point area

ALAMOSA, Colo. (KRDO) -- Alamosa Volunteer Search And Rescue (AVSAR) is currently responding to a mission in the Blanca Peak/Ellingwood Point area.

They are advising that there will be heavy helicopter activity in the area and on Lake Como Rd on Thursday, September 8.

The AVSAR is asking the public to please stay clear of the area to help ensure team member safety.
