UPDATE: Highway 285 reopens

Highway 285 is open again between Highway 24 and Grant.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said blowing snow was causing poor visibility and shut down part of the highway Monday.

A 100 mph wind gust was reported at Kenosha Pass earlier in the day. A high wind warning is in effect for the area until 11 p.m.
