Divide firefighters participate in Outdoors Day at Mueller State Park
TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Mueller State Park hosted its first outdoor skills day since the pandemic over the weekend.
Saturday, June 24, the rain held off long enough for kids to learn some firefighting techniques from firefighters with the Divide Fire Protection District.
Additionally, kids learned information about caving, how to protect resources, firearms, and archery shooting.
According to the Mueller State Park Facebook page, the Cripple Creek trolley was available for rides and kids also got to make s'mores.
