Sunny and hot today, but monsoon moisture increases Thursday

Mainly sunny early today, with partly cloudy skies and hot temperatures this afternoon.

TODAY: Shower and thunderstorm activity at a minimum today. But it will be hot, with highs ranging from the low to upper-90s.

TONIGHT: Clear skies and mild overnight with morning lows Thursday in low to mid-60s.

EXTENDED: Expect more numerous showers and thunderstorms starting on Thursday and heading into the weekend. Temperatures will also drop heading into the weekend with highs on Friday dipping into the upper-70s to the mid-80s. Temperatures will rebound and warm for the 4th of July.
