Pueblo Memorial Airport has an increase of passengers flying out of the city for the holiday weekend
It’s going to be a busy Thanksgiving weekend at Pueblo Memorial Airport.
Skywest, the airport’s biggest airline, said there will be more than the average number of passengers at the airport.
Pueblo Memorial Airport said the airline averages about 500 passengers a month.
Dwight Caughfield is flying out of Pueblo. He said flying is much easier for him.
“It’s very convenient to come here and then fly into Denver, you don’t have to fight the traffic, the ice, the snow, possible wrecks that have put me behind on travel before as well,” he said.
Pueblo Memorial averages about 7,000 passengers a year. The airport has 12 flights flying out of it each week.
