Fire sparks in Colorado Springs scrap metal yard
A fire at a south side scrap metal yard sent a large plume of smoke into the sky Thursday afternoon (6/26/14).
The fire started at American Iron and Metal in the 3300 block of Drennan Industrial Loop South during the two-o’clock hour.
The fire is now under control.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
