Gun brandished during department store robbery

Colorado Springs police are searching for a pair who they say robbed the JC Penny store at the Citadel Mall on March 21, 2014.

Police say the woman was stopped by an employee as the pair tried to leave the store with stolen merchandise. That’s when the man allegedly flashed a gun and ordered the employee to release the woman.

The pair got away in silver sedan, possibly a Chrysler.
