Wind is another four letter curse word for some

Wind. It may as well be a four letter curse word.

“I hate it,” Mark Bandeko said. “I’m trying to fall asleep and it’s just howling outside.”

“I stay inside,” said Jeremy Gwinnup.

“I’ve decided that wind is the thing that people love to hate the most when it comes to weather,” said Chief Meteorologist Matt Meister.

This past weekend hurricane force gusts knocked out power and damaged property.

But Meister says we need the wind for more than flying kites.

“There is a good thing it does. Being so far from the oceans, if the wind doesn’t blow, we don’t get rain or snow,” Meister said.
