Above normal temperatures with a chances of showers and storms through the weekend

Tonight we will see partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm for the Pikes Peak Region. It will be on the breezy side with winds out of the southwest at around 10 to 15 mph. Overnight lows will fall into the lower 60s.

Saturday and Sunday will bring us an elevated chance for showers and thunderstorms, with the wettest day of the weekend being Sunday. We will have to watch for the possibility of Flash Flooding over the Aspen Acre Burn Scar Area. Expect highs in the lowers 90s.

Monsoon moisture will remain in our area through the middle part of next week, with daily chances of showers and thunderstorms that do have the potential of producing heavy rain and Flash Flooding.
