Power returns for 2,800 COS residents

Power is restored to about 2,800 Colorado Springs residents this morning.

Residents living within a large perimeter of Colorado Springs lost power early in the morning.

Colorado Springs utilities determined equipment failure caused the outage and returned power to all residents within one to two hours.
