Springs police investigate possible “stranger danger” incident
An investigation is underway after a child reported a suspicious incident to security staff at Monterey Elementary in southeast Colorado Springs.
Colorado Springs Police tell KRDO NewsChannel 13’s Carl Winder that one child may have gotten into a stranger’s car and the other child ran back to the school to tell someone what happened. Police are still trying to confirm that version of events.
