Major flooding concern for some

Today: The morning will be favorable with clear skies and 60 to 70-degree weather. Clouds roll in late morning and showers can begin as early as 1 pm. Thunderstorms pop up across I-25 around 3 pm with severe thunderstorms possible at 5 pm. Showers and storms will continue until 9 pm.

Due to the thunderstorms and heavy showers at times a Flash Flood Watch has been issued over Pueblo County and some surrounding areas over the Aspen Acres burn scar from 2 pm until 9 pm.

Temperatures are warm with Colorado Springs in the low-90s and Pueblo in the mid-90s.

This week: We continue the active pattern through the week. Thunderstorms fire up around 3 pm each evening leaving the mornings as the best times to get outside. Colorado Springs high temperatures will hang in the high-80s and low-90s.
