Postal Service to hire 500 along Front Range
The U.S. Postal Service is hiring approximately 500 city carrier assistants to deliver mail for selected offices throughout the Front Range, from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.
These non-career positions pay $15 an hour and are initially appointed for a 360-day status. There are limited benefits associated with the positions. City carrier associates can accumulate vacation days.
They will also have the opportunity to participate in Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan after the first 360-day appointment. These positions also have the possibility of future employment as a career employee.
There are openings in other areas across the Mountain States as well. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Saturday. The number of hours worked will vary. Interested parties must apply for these and other positions online at the Postal Service’s website.
The only place to apply is at: http://about.usps.com/careers.
