Springs police make an arrest in stabbing

Colorado Springs police made a late-night arrest in a double stabbing.

Police tell us they responded to a call about a fight at the Fountain Terrance Apartments shortly before 10:30 Sunday night.

Police say when they arrived, they located a man in the hallway of the third floor with a large amount of blood on his shirt. They were able to locate the apartment quickly and eventually forced entry.

Police say there were several people inside the apartment but they could not locate victims. A short time later, two people showed up at a local hospital with stab wounds.

The victims were able to help police and identified a suspect.

Police arrested Daqwan Toussaint and Brittany Cranmer.
