Man suffers head injuries during a robbery
Police say a man was taken to the hospital around 11:00 after being robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.
The 26-year-old victim suffered head injuries during a fight.
The man said he was walking home when three men wearing hoodies approached him near the 3700 block of El Morro.
One of the suspects hit the man in the head with a blunt object, possibly a firearm. He also reported that a shot was fired in his direction.
The suspects stole some money and other small items from the victim.
The victim was treated for his injuries at Memorial Hospital and was released within hours.
