Police: No meth lab at Springs motel
Hazmat crews investigated a Colorado Springs motel room on Monday afternoon after ingredients commonly used to make methamphetamine were found in a unit.
Colorado Springs Police tell us that medical units were called to the Chateau Motel in the 1200 block of South Nevada Avenue to assist someone. When they entered the motel, crews found what they believed to be ingredients to make meth.
Hazmat crews were called to the scene and surrounding units were evacuated as a precaution. Police say they determined that the occupants were not manufacturing meth at the motel.
