Huerfano plane crash victims identified

Authorities have identified two people who were killed in a plane crash in Huerfano County on Thursday night.

57-year-old Steven Huber and 69-year-old Bruce Dalton were killed when their small planed crashed in rugged train, according to our news partners at the Pueblo Chieftain.

Sheriff Bruce Newman told the Pueblo Chieftain that the two men are believed to be from Hillsboro, N.C.

Newman said in a news release on Friday that the Colorado Civil Air Patrol found the wreck in the southwestern part of the county. The exact location of the crash wasn’t released, but authorities said it was found at an elevation of 12,400 feet.
