Police: Man accused of kidnapping, sexually assaulting victims from Colorado Springs bars

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs Police say 29-year-old Kevin Lemuel went to local bars and met the victims that he's accused of sexually assaulting. He's been arrested, but investigators are concerned there may be additional victims.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, Lemuel was identified as a suspect in two separate reports of sexual assault that happened in July and August or 2020. Lemuel was arrested in May, police announced on Wednesday.

CSPD says Lemuel met both of those victims at local bars, but it's not clear where the assaults happened. Lemuel is facing at least one count of kidnapping and two counts of sexual assault.

Detectives are working to find any potential unreported incidents involving Lemuel. If you have information, you're encouraged to call 719-444-7000.

We're working on getting more information on Lemuel's arrest. Check back for updates.
