Golden Cue has liquor license suspended

The Golden Cue Night Club in Colorado Springs has had its liquor license suspended.

The action by the Colorado Springs Liquor Board took place on Friday.

The suspension was the result of a recent shooting at the bar at which one man was killed and a woman was injured and a “pattern of behavior” at the establishment. The other instances were not specified.

According to Colorado Springs Police the licensee, Steven Knost, will be contacted about the action and will be required to post a sign that the liquor license has been suspended.

22-year old Ft. Carson soldier Spc. Kendrick James was killed in the shooting last week and a woman, Autumn Santos, was also shot. Santos has since been released from the hospital.

Police arrested 26 year old Dwight Gordon in connection to the shootings. He is charged with first degree murder and other charges.
