SHOWERS LINGER INTO THE OVERNIGHT

Capture

Flash Flooding potential/Heavy ponding on the roads this evening very likely with slow-moving, moisture-rich line of storms moving in from our south. Some storms could also produce brief gusty winds. Rain will linger through midnight for higher terrain areas in Western El Paso County and Teller county.

TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms taper off during the overnight hours. Partly cloudy and cool overnight with lows in the mid and upper-40s.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy skies Tuesday with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, highs will top out in the low to mid-60s. Afternoon shower chances will persist, along with a bit more sunshine and temperatures in the 70s and 80s by Thursday.

EXTENDED: Another round of afternoon storms Wednesday that could become more widespread after 2pm. Only an isolated storms chance by late week so expect Thursday and Friday to come with mostly dry conditions and more sunshine allowing temps into the 70's and 80's.
