Car Hits Building, 1 Person Injured

A car slammed into a building in Colorado Springs early Saturday morning sending one person to the hospital.

Police tell us they started getting calls shortly before 2:30 a.m. about someone driving south bound in the north bound lanes of Powers Boulevard near Dublin.

A short time later, a car crash was reported in the 6100 block of Tutt Boulevard.

Police say the man driving the wrong way is also the driver of the car that crashed.

The car crashed into a building. When police arrived, they found the man sitting inside the car alone.

He was taken to the hospital, police said.

No word on his condition or if he will be facing any charges.
