Shots Fired During Attempted Robbery At Springs Home

Police are looking into reports of shots fired during an apparent attempted robbery in the 2400 block of East St. Vrain Street Sunday night. Colorado Springs Police were investigating a report of shots fired Sunday night.

It’s believed the bullets damaged a home or apartment building, but no one inside was hit. Police found two shell cases outside of the home.

Investigating officers said the homeowners knew at least one of the suspects and let them in but things took a turn for the worse shortly after that..
