2 Arrested After Home Invasion In Pueblo
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested two men early Wednesday morning who are suspects in a home invasion.
Deputies said at about 11 p.m. Tuesday, they received a call from one of four family members at Sunset County Estates, a mobile home community at at 5000 Red Creek Springs Road, just outside the Pueblo city limits.
Deputies said the caller told them several people in the home were being held against their will by two men. The victims told deputies the men were wearing gloves, and one of them kept everyone on the couch while the other took valuables from the home.
At 3 a.m. Wednesday, deputies said they found the suspects at a home on Loch Lomond Lane in Pueblo, using information provided by the victims. Both men were arrested and the stolen property was found, according to deputies.
Bryan Brown and Jason Escobar, both 29 years old, were booked on multiple felony charges including aggravated robbery, burglary and theft.
Deputies said Brown had three active warrants for his arrest and gave false information to avoid being taken into custody. Escobar was subdued with a Taser when he resisted arrest, according to deputies.
Deputies said there may be more charges and more people involved.
“These men are reported to have brought a gun and knives into a home they weren’t invited into and held several people against their will while they robbed this family,” Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor said. “I commend my deputies for staying on the trail of these suspects throughout the night in order to bring this case to its conclusion. It demonstrates the thoroughness and determination needed to get our job done.”
The victims were not hurt during the home invasion.
