Hot temperatures continue with daily thunderstorm chances

Today: Waking up this morning temperatures will be chilly and in the low 60s. 70-degrees for Colorado Springs won't pop up until 8-9 am. Light rainfall is possible from 2 pm-10 pm. Most areas over I-25 will likely stay dry. High Country areas could see an isolated thunderstorm after 3 pm.

Colorado Springs high temperature will be around 94 degrees with Pueblo possibly getting up to 99 degrees.

Weekend: Chances to get storm increase through the evening For the I-25 areas showers could begin after 3 pm with thunderstorms beginning after 5 pm. There is a good chance these storms will grow to be severe, strong winds and hail are possible. The biggest weather concern is flooding across the Aspen Acres burn scar area.
