Friday Forecast: Showers and Storms Before A Great Weekend

We woke up to some cloud cover and light rain/snow showers in some areas but most of the morning will be dry for the region. We bring back the chance for rain showers and thunderstorms this afternoon which are looking to impact a good chunk of the area. We are not looking at severe weather but small hail and strong winds are not out of the realm of possibilities.

Higher elevations will be seeing snow showers continue through this afternoon before we all clear out as we head into the night. This weekend is shaping up to be gorgeous with temperatures going back to normal, even above normal on Sunday, and we will have mostly clear skies which will feel so great after this past week of cool and cloudy weather.

Once we head to next week, Monday will be great with sunshine and warm temperatures. We watch for our next storm to impact the area from Tuesday to Wednesday. As of now, it looks like it will be a warmer storm with rain for the lower elevations and possibly some snow for the higher elevations.
