NewsChannel 13 and KRDO Radio News is looking for an Account Executive in the Pueblo Bureau office. This position generates revenue by selling television, radio, Telemundo and web advertising to clients in the Pueblo area.
Meets and exceeds radio, TV and web sales budgets; solicits business from self-generated prospects and leads and accounts as assigned; prospects for and generates New Direct clients; develops a positive relationship with local clients and their agency of record; assists in resolving billing and collection problems; coordinates commercial production; provides sales and station management with reports and participates in all sales meetings.
Successful candidate will be a self-starter with a highly motivated personality. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Prior outside sales experience preferred.
