Tonight: Red flag warnings in effect for Fremont/Chaffee/Park/Lake Counties till 8pm tonight as winds will continue to gust upwards of 45mph till then along with relative humidities in the single digits. Finally calming down overnight. Colorado Springs will remain mostly clear this evening with temperatures dipping into the mid 30s.
Sunday: An overall cooler and less windy day, which is a good sign for improving critical fire weather. Plenty of sunshine across the I-25 corridor. Colorado Springs will only reach about 59 degrees for a high temperature.
Extended: Warming up to start the workweek, back into the 70s and 80s in Central/Southern Colorado. Minimal rain chances through mid-week. Be on the lookout for Thursday. A strong cold front will cross through the state early Thursday morning bringing with it winter-like temperatures, strong winds, and yes potentially snow.
