Colorado Springs Car Wash offers free car washes for teachers starting today
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A Colorado Springs car wash is offering free full service car washes to teachers at Water Works Car Wash & Detail Center.
Frequently touched areas in the interior of the car are also sanitized during this process. Water Works wants to thank teachers and help them stay healthy this school year.
All local teachers are encouraged to stop by any of their three locations on August 30th, September 6th or September 13th for a free Full Service Wash. Owner, Jim Spinato, says, “We understand that this is an uncertain time for teachers and we want to make sure their car is clean and sanitized."
Spinato adds, "Perhaps we can keep not only the teachers from getting the virus, but maybe some of the students and some of the parents."
All teachers need to do is present some form of identification to get a free full service wash at one of these locations:
- 525 South Nevada
- 2253 La Montana Way
- 1108 North Academy (Citadel)
Broadmoor Elementary School Teacher, Alyssa Dillard, says, "I’m really happy to get a free car wash. I think it’s very thoughtful of them to do that for us. I really appreciate that a lot."
Water Works has also partnered with a small business in our community, Sasquatch Cookies who will be donating cookies for teachers.
