HOT AND HAZY TUESDAY

smoke

A hot start to the workweek will be paired with smokey skies. A pattern change by the end of the week.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild overnight with morning lows in the low and mid-60s. Expect areas of smoke and haze to linger into the overnight hours.

TUESDAY: Partly to mostly sunny with temps in the 90's to low 100's with hazy skies and poor air quality remaining in place. Isolate afternoon storms possible for higher terrain areas.

EXTENDED: A couple more days with well above average temperatures and chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs will remain in the mid-90s and low-100s for Tuesday and Wednesday. The ridge of high pressure that has been so dominant as of low will finally get flattened out Thursday and Friday. This will lead to slightly cooler temps for the end of the week and into the weekend.
