UPDATE: All clear at Air Force Academy after truck tests positive for nitroglycerin

AIR FORCE ACADEMY (KRDO) - Crews investigated an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) situation at the South Gate of the Air Force Academy Friday.

Representatives tell KRDO Newschannel 13 that crews with an ion scanner were alerted to the presence of nitroglycerin in a dump truck. An investigation later revealed no actual trace of nitroglycerin, and the vehicle was released to the driver.

The South Gate was closed around 6:30 a.m. Friday. It reopened around 9:30 a.m.
