Amber alert suspect charged with kidnapping, domestic violence

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- According to Pueblo Police, 53-year old Ricky Trujillo has been charged with second-degree kidnapping and domestic violence charges.

Three-year-old Savannah Camele was safely located just before 5 p.m. Saturday evening. Trujillo was taken into custody around the same time.

An Amber Alert was issued at 2:30 pm Saturday afternoon.

Before being located, Camele and Trujillo were last seen near the intersection of Hanover and Old Pueblo early Saturday afternoon south of Fountain.

The two were in the company of Camele's grandmother, traveling in a 2006 White Ford Explorer with a broken out rear window, covered in plastic and black tape.

Trujillo allegedly pushed the grandmother out of the vehicle and fled with Camele.
