New details on 18-year-old arrested for sexual exploitation in El Paso County
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- An arrest affidavit for a teenager accused of sexual exploitation of children details what evidence the El Paso County Sheriff's Office obtained to arrest him.
On April 29, deputies were already interviewing Kameron Hannah in relation to a separate case regarding the sexual exploitation of children with a victim in Phoenix, Arizona.
During the interview, Hannah told deputies he had exchanged nude photographs with the victim in Arizona. Hannah allowed the Sheriff's Office to make copy the contents from his phone.
During their initial search, investigators saw several photos and videos "of sexual acts being committed with children who were clearly under the age of 18."
A detective on the case who spoke to KRDO over the phone said in general ages of the victims are obvious. He asked to be kept anonymous to keep the integrity of his undercover work.
"Nowadays there's not a lot of gray area of what we as investigators refer to as age-difficult content," he said.
On May 5, after securing a search warrant, deputies found 162 videos of sexual exploitation of children.
Several videos showed young children, both male and female participating in sexual acts.
Hannah was booked into the El Paso County jail on Wednesday afternoon and is facing 164 counts of sexual exploitation of a child, a class four felony.
