On the lookout: Pueblo police search for an armed robber; El Paso County deputies try to identify attempted burglars

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pueblo police are looking for information on a man who opened fire inside a Dominos restaurant before stealing money.

On April 22nd, around 12:12 a.m., police say the suspect entered the store and "threatened the employees with a handgun and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money."

Surveillance video shows the suspect leading an employee to a safe before she hands him what looks to be a bundle of money.

Police say, "while leaving the parking lot, the suspect fired the handgun toward the employees. No one was injured."

He left in a white Toyota Tundra with the Colorado license plate, SQJ253. The plate is reported stolen from Arapahoe County.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with a medium build. On the night of the robbery, he was wearing "a distinctive hoodie that is black on the upper arms, shoulders, and hood, with an orange color on the rest of the hoody, black pants, and black shoes, possibly Nike brand."

The El Paso County Sheriff's office is looking for a pair of suspicious men near Northeast Colorado Springs.

On April 23rd, deputies say two men were spotted on surveillance cameras looking for open vehicles by checking their door handles around 8 p.m. on the 4900 Block of Diamond Drive.

The sheriff's office said, "there are a number of criminal trespass auto cases in the area and they may be tied to those cases."

Surveillance video shows the two suspects trying three cars in one driveway before moving onto the next. The second camera shows the suspects are spooked by a motion light before walking away.
