Girl Scouts release two new flavors, including first dog-friendly cookie

STATEWIDE, Colo. (KRDO) -- Two new flavors are coming to this fan-favorite cookie brand, including something for your paw-tastic best friend.

Girl Scouts of Colorado announced two new additions for the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie lineup. It includes the first cookie for dogs, and the first allergen-friendly cookie in the Girl Scout's lineup.

According to officials, Patch Pals, will be a soft-baked blueberry muffin flavored cookie.

The other new cookie, Girl Scout Sparkables, is the first cookie developed for people with food allergies. Officials say it is developed in a facility designed to avoid nine major food allergens. The cookie is oatmeal with chocolate chips and sprinkles.

According to Girl Scouts of Colorado, the online season for cookies starts on Jan. 5, 2027. Door-to-door sales start January 31 and run until March 14. They say all the proceeds will stay local and go to Girl Scouts in Colorado.
