Meet Spot! The HSPPR Pet of the week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - This is Spot, and she is your Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region!

Spot is a 1-year-old black & white Domestic Shorthair cat who came into HSPPR as an owner surrender.

Spot may have been named after the adorable white spot on her back, but her sweetest feature is the gentle personality that's beginning to shine through. This independent girl has been making progress at HSPPR and is now accepting pets from staff and volunteers as her confidence grows.

She'll need a quiet, patient home and plenty of time to settle in, but with love and understanding, Spot will warm up in your home.

Spot’s adoption is free this week, and she will still go home with her vaccinations, a voucher for a vet exam, a microchip, and she will be spayed.
