Police: Club-goer held captive, assaulted by suspect in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - A Colorado Springs man tells police he went home with someone he met at a club, only to be held against his will on April 18.

The victim told the Colorado Springs Police Department that after a late night of being at the club on Saturday, he accepted an invitation to go home with the suspect, now identified as Nick Alcorn. According to police, Alcorn is now being charged with attempted sexual assault, among other criminal charges.

Court records obtained by KRDO13 say that Alcorn worked at the club that the victim and he left from. According to reports, the victim says he had met Alcorn once before the night at the club.

The victim told police that while at the Candlewood Apartments, Alcorn held a knife to his throat, and when the victim asked if he was joking, Alcorn allegedly showed no reaction and tried to sexually assault the victim. According to court records, the victim managed to escape and began knocking on neighbors' doors, but no one answered.

The victim then found his way to a convenience store where he waited for the police to arrive, according to court records. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital due to lacerations.

According to CSPD, Alcorn is currently being held at the El Paso County Jail.

At the time of publication, Alcorn's mugshot was not yet available, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
