Stormtracker 13 weather team adds new member to the family
Just as Friday's winds were beginning to gain strength, Stormtracker 13 Meteorologist Katie Donovan was working on a top story of her own.
With help from the baby's father, Newschannel 13 producer Andrew Wright, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl this morning in Colorado Springs.
Magnolia Marie Wright entered the world at 9:59am, weighing in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces.
In an email to the newsroom Friday evening, Katie wrote, "All 3 of us are doing great and are enjoying being a family. Andrew and I are SO in love! We can't wait to introduce her to all of you. Thanks to all of you for celebrating this special time with us. "
The KRDO family wishes Katie and Andrew the best as they get to know their new bundle of joy.
