Powers Blvd. closed between Bradley Road and Grinnell Boulevard due to Grass Fire
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is reporting that northbound Powers is closed between Bradley Road and Grinnell Boulevard due to fire activity.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is also responding as Mutual Aid to the grass fire.
CSFD said that the fire is contained and that no structures were threatened. The airport was also not impacted.
According to CSFD, the fire stayed between Milton E Proby and S Powers. Fire investigators are on the scene.
