Travel Alert: 16-Hour I-25 closure this Saturday – Sunday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - I-25 under the Sky View Lane Bridge (just north of Larkspur) will be closed for 16 hours starting Saturday night.

The north and southbound lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. Saturday - 11 a.m. Sunday.

Traffic will go around the closure using the Sky View Lane on and off-ramps. You can also use Hwy 83 or 105 as an alternate route.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, drivers can expect up to a 45-minute delay during peak travel times.

The closure is due to the removal of asphalt and the installation of two drainage pipes.
