Man injured in stabbing at S. Nevada Avenue

Early Saturday at approximately 4:21 a.m. CSPD responded to a reported stabbing in the 1100 block of South Nevada Ave.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a male with multiple stab wounds, according to the police blotter. Their preliminary investigation revealed that the victim met with two individuals in the area and a disturbance ensued.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and then stabbed him multiple times. The suspects fled the area on foot.

CSPD’s Violent Crimes Detectives responded to assist with the investigation. The victim is in critical condition but is expected to survive.
