Officials investigating a string of overnight armed robberies in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department believes that a string of overnight armed robberies are connected to the same suspect or group.
Three different incidents at convenience stores around the Colorado Springs area are now being investigated. The first call came in at 2:20 a.m. on Nevada Ave. and Cashe Le Poudre St. The second incident was reported at 3:25 a.m. at 4800 Barnes Rd. The last call came in at 3:42 a.m. at 3200 Austin Bluffs Pkwy.
There are no suspects in custody at this point. They are working to get surveillance footage of the robberies.
