Sunshine then a few afternoon storms – 5/30/19

TODAY: Sunshine is expected for the first half of the day before things become partly cloudy by lunchtime. If you are heading to the Air Force Academy graduation, the weather is looking nice! Just bring a light jacket due to morning temperatures in the 50s. A stray shower or storm is expected anytime after 2 or 3pm today. Right now this shouldn’t have major impacts on Thunderbird performances. It looks like the best chance of more widely scattered showers and storms will be south of Highway 50. Highs today will climb to the 60s and 70s.

TONIGHT: A few thundershowers are possible before 9PM. Tonight, things look mainly dry with lows cooling to the 30s and 40s.

EXTENDED: Off and on showers are possible through the weekend, but highs should return to the 70s and 80s. Most of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday look dry and warm before another cool down moves in on Wednesday.
