Pedestrian hit by car near Memorial Park in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police are investigating after a person was hit by a car just south of Memorial Park Tuesday morning.

Northbound Union Boulevard has been shut down at the intersection of Prospect Lake Drive, and there are traffic delays in the area, according to emergency dispatch. (MAP)

Police said one person was taken to the hospital with injuries. The victim hasn’t been identified.
