Rain/Snow Tonight 4-29-19
TONIGHT: Moderate to heavy accumulating snow is likely over 7,000′ tonight. Most snow accumulation will be occurring in this timeframe, and will primarily be contained to grassy areas. Temperatures will be in the 30s and 20s tonight. Anywhere from 3 to 8″ is likely around Teller County with very minor accumulation through Colorado Springs and places through Monument. Northern El Paso County could get 2-3″ in some spots but main concerns for slick travel will stay west of I-25 overnight
Tuesday: Rain/Snow showers will begin tapering off by the morning hours. Some low hanging clouds could make for low visibility in higher terrain areas along with some slick secondary road for the morning commute. Most locations are drying out the mid-late morning with temps rebounding into the 40’s and 50’s. A chance for an isolated shower/storms possible along and east of I-25 through the afternoon hours.
Tuesday night: Slight chance of a shower/storms before 8 pm then partly cloudy with temps cooling into the 30’s
