Water main break causing closure in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. (KRDO) -- The intersection at West Colorado and 21st Street is closed in both directions due to a break in a water main.

According to Colorado Springs Utilities, The water main break happened yesterday. There is no information on if the cause of the break is because of the frigid temperatures recently.

There is no update on when the break will be fixed and the roads will be re-opened. This is a developing situation that we'll update you as soon as that intersection opens back up.
