Motorcyclist killed in crash outside Colorado Springs

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash outside Colorado Springs on Friday evening.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the victim lost control around 6:30pm near the intersection of Curtis Road and Dragonman Drive, just north of Highway 94.

The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries.

The crash scene is a few hundred yards from the well known “Dragonman’s” gun shop and shooting range.

KRDO was able to reach owner Mel “Dragonman” Bernstein on Friday evening.

Bernstein confirmed none of his staff was involved in the crash.

According to the state patrol, no other vehicles were involved.
