Clouds and sun, warmer temps – 2/28/19
TODAY: We will see a mix of clouds and sunshine for the area today. Winds will begin to turn to the west and will allow for some of the cooler air to flush out of low lying areas. Highs will be in the 40s to low 50s.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool with lows in the 20s and 30s.
EXTENDED: Friday looks mild and breezy with more clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the 50s to near 60 in a lot of locations before our weather takes a turn over the weekend. The first round of snow will be moving in late Friday into Saturday morning. A few snow flurries are possible overnight Friday but better chances for snow showers arrive by the mid morning on Saturday. Those will mainly be contained to the Palmer Divide and will bring little to no accumulation. A more significant round of accumulating snow looks possible late Saturday night into the day on Sunday. We will keep you updated!
